What's Your Java?

CoffeeBeans        Here at Udi’s we take our coffee seriously. We’re in the process of developing a coffee menu that includes adding a variety of flavors, unique styles, original blends and a well-balanced cup of joe we can all identify with.

Coffee is said to have first been consumed in 9th century Ethiopia. From there, the cultivation and consumption of coffee has traveled throughout the Middle East and Mediterranean, brewing it’s way up to Europe. In it’s journey, coffee has had a sorted history. From being banned by certain cultures at certain times, to being reserved for royalty or religious rites. But in the end, coffee’s rich aroma has wafted it’s way around far away lands and is now an integral part of an emerging worldwide culture.

Coffee is now grown, roasted and coveted around the globe. Each location coffee is cultivated offers it’s own distinctive flavor. If you’re a purist - you like single source coffee. That is, coffee grown in one location. The most well balanced coffees tend to be blended coffee; coffees grown in multiple locations and combined to create the perfect balance of flavors.

Whether it’s a latte, iced, sweet, black, or a shot of espresso with a twist of lemon and sugarcube… people love their coffee. It could be because of the caffeine pick me, or the fact that coffee has more antioxidants than any other beverage, including green tea! Whatever the reason, it’s here to stay. So in honor, we’re pressing our own piece of a worldwide coffee culture, and hope you’re there to savor it with us.

Stay tuned for tasting schedules and varieties.
